Pirates Players at WFC 2014

Pirates would like to wish all the players heading to Sweden for the World Floorball Championships held in December to represent Australia the very best of luck. They will head to Finland for a 8 day training camp and then to Gothenburg Sweden for the WFC Tournament. The WFC runs from 5th to 14th of December.


Three Pirates Players have been selected to be apart of this team. We wish them great success!

2014-15 Season

The FWA Floorball Season is now in full swing.

2014-15 Season fast approaching

After an exciting off season where the Pirates Floorball Club had a range of players and teams participate in the Australian Floorball Open in July which the Juniors, Ladies and Mens Revo Exports Teams all made it to their respective Semi Finals, but were unable to progress to the Final. The young Revo Raiders team made it to the quarter finals only to be knocked out by the Revo Exports. All AFO results can be found here:


The 2014/15 Perth Summer Floorball League is fast approaching and Pirates have a few tournaments that they will attend in October before the start of the season.


Northam Open 4th October.


NBO – Northenr Beaches Open, Sydney 11-12th October.


Start of Perth Floorball Summer League 18th of October.

The Australian Men’s team won the World Floorball Championships Qualifications held in Wellington New Zealand.


Pirates wish to congratulate the whole team, and we look forward to the WFC in Sweden in December 2014.

Men’s WFCQ 2014 – Wellington NZ

The World Floorball Championships Qualification are to be held in Wellington New Zealand at the ASB Sports Centre, from the 29th of January until the 2nd of February 2014.


Australia is once again sending a strong national team to the 2014 WFCQ tournament. Five countries are participating for a chance to go to Gothenburg, Sweden in December to play in the World Floorball Championship. Only the top three teams will qualify to the WFC.


Team’s include, Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand.


With Australia missing out on the last Men’s WFC they are very motivated to not let this happen again.


Pirates Floorball Club is proud to have 4 Elite players selected in the 20 squad to head over to New Zealand.

Women’s WFC 2013 Czech Republic

The Australian Women’s Floorball Team is due to play their first game of the World Floorball Championship in the Czech Republic.


Their 1st game is Saturday December the 7th at 1pm local Czech time.
