WHY FLOORBALL?

All the fun of stick sport, without the outdoor weather or bulky kit.

Floorball is a fast indoor hockey sport built around speed, passing and skill. It is easy to start socially and has a clear pathway into organised competition as you improve.

That makes it especially natural for people coming from field hockey or ice hockey, but plenty of Pirates players also start with no stick-sport background at all.

I am completely new

We will help you understand the basics, what to bring and which session suits you.

02

I already play hockey

Bring the instincts you already have. Floorball is indoors, quick to pick up and much lighter on equipment.

I already play floorball

Tell us your experience and current level so we can point you toward the right Pirates team.

YOUR FIRST SESSION

Try First Stick on a Saturday.

Floorball Culture's small-group Welshpool introduction lets newcomers try the sport before deciding whether to join a beginner mini competition.
